I live in a very cluttered home with an accumulation of treasures from many parts of the world, obtained during my lifetime, and inherited from my parents and friends. Now in my early seventies, it is getting harder to let go, but I do not want my children to deal with it when I am no longer around. I have procrastinated for a long time to take care of this difficult task. I have been reading “how to” articles and blogs on the subject. Nothing inspired me as much as this short YouTube video on the Konmari method, which I will be using for my decluttering project and my way to peace, harmony, and energy. However, I will be adding one category to the recommended KEEP, DONATE, and TRASH. This will be SELL through my online shop, Light in the Attic.
I will be posting pictures of my progress and links to inspirational sites for anyone who also wants to let go of “treasures” from their world and enjoy the serenity that comes with decluttering, or make room for new treasures.
